I missed a weekly post. Bad, Patricia!
Work has been abundant. I’m happy to share my skills with people who need and appreciate them. My tattoo artist has adorable kids I get to baby sit once in a while. Makes me glad I only have one, grown child. He finds time to paint and garden along with being a very, attentive parent. It’s also driving him to parental burn-out. I help when I can.
An entitled, misogynist massacres a lot of people. Maya Angelou dies. Ice caps melting, storms brewing, riots and fires all over. I’m a little overwhelmed.
I took a day off. *gasp* Went to a farmer’s market with my son and then hit the comic book shop. It’s a local business and the owner is a friendly, knowledgeable, nerd who hires friendly, knowledgeable nerds. Good times.
I promised to bring dessert to a party this Sunday. Coconut milk, mango panna cotta. Everyone LOVES my desserts. I see them as edible art. Looks like I’m doing another, dessert drive by. My tattoo guy has an opening for me this Sunday. By reading my blog, you should know. I love my ink! I also love quiet time. Listening to music or a book on CD while I make art. Soon, I’ll have time for that. Summer is here, in Tucson and things slow down. It’s too, fucking hot to do much of anything, other than try to stay cool and hydrated. I have to slowly, start packing up non essentials. It’s time to move at the end of summer. I’m also trying to save up for a decent car. How can I run a mobile massage business if I don’t have a reliable car? So, new dwelling and a car. That is my main goal. I’d also like to get a new, spare massage table with a wheeled carry case. A minion to tote everything, world peace, free energy and a pony that tramples stupid people.
I don’t ask for much.
