The shift is bringing out the madness in humanity. Change is frighting and exciting. So much potential for wondrous and horrible outcomes. No wonder so many people are losing their shit.
I’m torn between wanting to remain informed and hiding in my room and reading books with happy endings. Then, I think of all those brave and crazy journalists who risk their lives to bring the truth to the world. I have to look and read. My heart aches and I cry. Why are we still acting like bronze age tribesmen? Killing anyone who isn’t us. Rabid apes with technology to blow up the world.
We have the internet. We have the knowledge of how everything and everyone is connected, yet we still act like petty children on the playground. Fighting over toys and who gets to sit on top of the jungle gym. What the hell!?
This magical internet gives me steams of news. New discoveries, inventions and mind shifts that give me hope for humanity’s future. I also get the other side. The four horsemen ride through the world like they’re in a parade.
“Man seeking power is the most dangerous animal on the planet.” I’m not sure who said this, but it’s true. Only evil people seek power. Look at every political leader. They will say anything, do anything to keep their place on top of the jungle gym. Well, the rest of us are finally, beginning to wake up. They’ve tried to dumb us down and starve us into submission. We can’t take anymore and we’re fighting back. Too bad, the evil people have had decades to prepare for this. It’s going to be a bloody fight.
I want to focus on the people fighting to change things on a deeper level. Einstein was right. We can’t expect the people who caused these problems to fix them. It’s time for a paradigm shift. yeah, that sounds cheesy and New Agey, but it’s true.
Just one of many organizations trying to change the world for the better. We have the ways and means to eradicate hunger, homelessness, disease and ignorance. Why are we not doing this as a species? How stupid is it to destroy not only your neighbor, but the world we all share?
I am one person who knows we are all one. I’m no Buddha, but I’m trying. I get angry and want to lash out at people who radiate hate and ignorance, but I know this does no good.
“Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.” One of my favorite quotes. Mark Twain, if I’m not mistaken.
